Dear all,
I hope that you all had a great holiday. This week, students and staff have filled our school with positive energy and excitement for the term ahead.
Today we share the achievements of our students that attended the Adaptive Sports event. Thanks to our PE team, Mike and Katrina, our students had an amazing time taking part in competitive events and, most importantly, got a positive encouragement to stay active and healthy.
The new term started with some fantastic professional development for our staff that will have a great impact on students. During our staff meeting, we all learnt about different levels of questioning and how we can use the right questions to best support students learning. We also reflected on the successes of the last NPDL project, Be My Best, on students’ learning and development of Character - resilience, tenacity and self-regulation. We celebrated things that went well and made suggestions for the future focus.
It is wonderful to see our school facilities being used to support our community. Our ECA programme is truly back on with exciting activities taking place each day. We are also happy to host Love21 Foundation in our school.
Over the next couple of weeks, I am looking forward to seeing some parents at school during Book Week, Principal and AAC Meet-Ups and Annual Reviews.
I would like to wish you all the very best for a successful Term 3. As we look ahead, I am excited about the future opportunities for Everyone to be Happy, Engaged and Learning.
Warm regards,
Anna

There will be no AAC meetup on the 4th of May; we look forward to seeing you in June.
Arrival of Influenza Season in Hong Kong and Additional Measure on Temperature Monitoring
We would like to alert you that Hong Kong has entered the influenza season. According to the CHP update, the local seasonal influenza activity has continued to increase in the past week. The community should heighten vigilance for protection against influenza.
Please be reminded to check your children’s temperatures at home daily before you send them to school to monitor for any fevers. To prevent outbreaks of influenza and other respiratory infections, it is very important that children with fever (ear temperature higher than 38°C), regardless of the presence of respiratory symptoms, should not attend school.
To prevent influenza and respiratory tract infections, you can:
build up good body immunity by having a balanced diet, exercising regularly, taking adequate rest and avoiding overstress.
maintain good personal hygiene.
when having respiratory symptoms, wear a surgical mask, refrain from attending classes at school, avoid going to crowded places and seek medical advice promptly.
