Dear all,
As we wrap up term one with a great Christmas assembly, I would like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our staff and parents for their unwavering support and commitment to our school community. Staff, your commitment to our students and school has been instrumental in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for all. Parents, your contributions have been invaluable and greatly appreciated.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff members who put in tremendous effort to make the Winter Festival fundraiser a success. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated! Thanks to your unwavering support, the JCSRS PTA was able to raise HK$4,450. Once again, thank you for your commitment to making our school a better place.
The end of terms is a time when we say farewells to some staff. Sadly, this time is not different as we say goodbye to four staff members:
Their contributions to our school community have been invaluable, and they will be missed by us all. I am sure you will join me in wishing them all the best in their future endeavours.
As we head into the winter break, I would like to wish everyone a restful and relaxing holiday season. May this break be a time for you to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year, as we continue to work together to provide the best possible education for our students.
On behalf of the ESF Jockey Club Sarah Roe School, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
All the best,
Anna
Golf in Tuen Mun
Congratulations to all the students taking part in the final golf training at Tuen Mun. We have seen tremendous progression in all students' abilities. Thank you to all the supporting adults and Coach Billy from Special Olympics.
Our next event will be taking the trainee golfers to Kau Sai Chau on 12th January 2024.
Track and Field in Kowloon Bay
Congratulations to the seven students who participated in the Special Olympics Track and Field event last Saturday in Kowloon Bay. It was a sunny day with blue skies, which turned out to be quite perfect for JCSRS students to perform at their best. Every student received a medal, and some won two. Thank you to the adults who supported and enjoyed the event and to Katrina for assisting in organising the event prior to the day.
Please see the result below.

Please check this link for some great running race options which many of our students would benefit from. There is a 1km family run/walk and a longer 4km race which also has a wheelchair category.
