Dear all,
Even in the last two weeks of school, our staff and students were busy and took part in many carefully planned activities. These included the ESF-wide eSports competition, a Post-16 class bowling trip, Cinema Day, and an unforgettable Water Fun Day. These events brought great joy and provided memorable experiences for our students as they celebrated the completion of another successful academic year.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our staff for their dedication and hard work in supporting the excellent progress of JCSRS students as we come to the end of the 2024-25 school year. Your commitment and passion have not gone unnoticed, and it has been truly heartwarming to witness the positive impact you have had on our school community.
On behalf of all staff, I want to thank parents for the numerous messages of thanks and praise for their work in supporting the excellent progress of JCSRS students. It is true that kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes can be endless (Mother Teresa).
A special thanks have to go to our staff leavers David, Katrina, Sheetal, and Pam for their unwavering support and exceptional contributions to our school. Your hard work and commitment have helped shape the success of our students, and your presence will be greatly missed.
I also want to take this opportunity to bid farewell to our student leavers, Aadi, Kaleb, Aden, and Elia. Your time with us has been invaluable, and we are grateful for the positive energy and enthusiasm you brought to our school. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours and hope you continue to shine brightly wherever you go.
As we prepare to close this chapter and move forward, let us remember to be the best that we can be, and be Happy, Engaged and Learning. I am confident that we will continue to achieve great things together.
Thank you all for making this year such a memorable and rewarding one, and I look forward to seeing the amazing things that we will accomplish in the years to come.
Warm regards,
Anna
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Jessica, who recently showcased her exceptional talent in the WIS art exhibition. Jessica's dedication, creativity, and hard work shone brightly through her captivating artwork, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of viewing it.
Jessica's pieces demonstrated a level of skill and maturity. Her unique artistic voice and passion for self-expression were evident in her artwork.
Not only does Jessica's success bring pride to our school community, but it also serves as an inspiration to her peers. It is a testament to the power of perseverance, creativity, and embracing one's creativity fearlessly.
Jessica's success is an excellent example of inclusion. She was offered an invaluable learning experience in WIS through the ESF Access program, where she could learn and socialise with students in a mainstream school environment.
We applaud Jessica for her exceptional talent and congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to witnessing her continued growth and success in the world of art.
Exciting News from the JCSRS Jaguars eSports Teams!
We are thrilled to share that on the weekend of 22nd and 23rd June, our talented Secondary and Primary eSports teams, known as the ‘JCSRS Jaguars’, participated in the thrilling second ESF Esports tournament at ESF Centre. During this event, our teams showcased their skills in Minecraft, competing against various ESF schools.
We are delighted to report that our students demonstrated outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship, making us incredibly proud of their achievements. We extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive parents who generously volunteered their time over the weekend, contributing to the tremendous success of the tournament.
Stay tuned for more updates on our eSports teams and their future endeavours!
The weather was hot, and the students were ready for some fun! On Thursday, classes cooled off from the summer heat with an end-of-year Water Fun Day. Some classes took part in water-themed group games, while others immersed themselves in wonderful sensory experiences. Of course, no Water Fun Day is complete without getting a chance to splash the teachers!
The world is rich with diversity, which is reflected in the observances celebrated by its various cultures and populations. We hope that knowledge of the holidays and celebrations for diversity in this calendar can enhance our school's diversity and inclusion efforts.
